I’ve enjoyed using HelloAida during homework and study time with my 10 year old daughter. She says it is easy to use and really enjoys the in app games. I have noticed that she is studying more, becoming more engaged, and taking greater interest in her schoolwork. I am confident that this term she will work her way back to her usual 90% range. Overall, I would rate the app 4 out of 5 stars, not because there is anything wrong with it, but simply because we are still learning how to use all its features. I will most likely come back and update my rating later.

My experience with HelloAida today:

I used HelloAida with my Grade 4 class to explain what an interview is in simple terms. It gave me a clear explanation that my learners understood immediately. No confusing jargon, just straight to the point.

HelloAida made my lesson easier and kept the learners engaged. I’ll definitely use it again, because it guides them step by step so they know exactly what’s expected.

For my first experience with HelloAida, I decided to test it out with my learners using the prompt:
“Hey HelloAida, please help me create a study timetable using Microsoft Word.”

What stood out to me was how quickly the learners engaged with the process. It became more than just “using AI”, it turned into a lesson on planning, organisation, digital literacy and independent learning.

Many learners struggle with knowing how to structure their studying effectively, and seeing technology guide them step-by-step made the task feel less intimidating and more achievable.

I also loved how naturally it encouraged them to interact with Microsoft Word in a practical and purposeful way.
As an educator, that was my biggest takeaway: technology works best when it empowers learners to think, create and take ownership of their learning experience.

I trialed HelloAida for 2 weeks using the 1-month basic plan to help my kids with Grade 2 Maths and Grade 5 English homework.
