As a teacher, I found HelloAida to be a safe and easy-to-use learning support tool. What stood out to me most was that it encouraged critical thinking rather than simply providing answers. The “Guide Me” feature helped break down questions step by step, allowing learners to understand the process and build confidence in their own abilities.

I particularly enjoyed the voice note feature, as it made it easy for learners to ask questions in a way that felt natural and accessible. The platform was straightforward to navigate, and I appreciated that it is aligned to CAPS, IEB and Cambridge curricula.

One area I would love to see developed further is the inclusion of more South African languages such as Sesotho. This would make the platform even more accessible to learners who are more comfortable learning in their home language.

HelloAida does not replace teachers or parents, but it serves as a valuable support tool for homework, revision and independent learning. Overall, my experience was positive, and I can see how it could help learners build understanding and confidence beyond the classroom.
